- GEM Enterprise ("Service Provider") allows you to subscribe to its alerts and advisories service (the "Warnings") as part of our emergency response warning system. In order to receive Warnings electronically, please read the following terms of use ("Terms of Service"), which may be amended from time to time without notice to you. By clicking on the "Accept" button upon signing up, you accept and have agreed to be bound by the Terms of Service.
- Service Provider provides Warnings, in accordance with its mandate, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Warnings can be received by e‑mail, text message, pager, desktop notifications, overhead display, telephone, and/or public address.
- In order to subscribe to Warnings, you must have access to the appropriate technology and equipment, and you may be charged service fees by your technology provider. Service Provider is not responsible for any costs and expenses incurred by subscribers receiving Warnings.
- Service Provider makes every effort to ensure that the content of the Warnings is accurate and up to date. However, Service Provider does not guarantee, or make any warranty express or implied that (i) the Warnings are current, accurate, complete or reliable; or, that (ii) the Warnings will be available without interruption, error or omission. Service Provider, including its agents, employees, volunteers and contractors are not responsible or liable for any damage or loss, however caused, which results directly or indirectly from use (including failure to use) or reliance on the Warnings, either by a subscriber or by anyone else.
- Service Provider collects personal information from subscribers in order to provide subscribers with Warnings. This personal information is protected under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIPPA). Your acceptance of these Terms of Service constitutes your consent to such information being collected and used. See the privacy notice on the Service Provider website for further information about Service Provider's privacy policy.
- The Warnings may be linked, or may contain links, to Web sites that are not operated by Service Provider. Service Provider neither endorses nor assumes any responsibility for the content of linked Web sites. Both your use of a linked Web site, and your right to use or reproduce information or materials from a linked Web site, are subject to the terms of use governing that particular Web site.
- You must be age 16 or over to receive Warnings. If you are under the age of 16, you may still receive Warnings if you have the permission of a parent or legal guardian.
- You acknowledge that you do not have and will not obtain any intellectual property right in or to any information contained in the Warnings. The Warnings may not be reproduced in whole or in part except with the written permission of Service Provider.
- If you have any problems receiving the Warnings, if you have breached, or are aware of a breach of the Terms of Service, or if you need to contact us for any other reason, please do so by emailing us at enterprisesupport@genasys.com.
